Are you a Nursery Nurse with a current N.N.E.B./ BTEC Diploma in Child Care or NVQ in Child Care level 3 or equivalent? We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic nursery nurse who is passionate about children's health and development to be part of our well-established Community Health Nurse (CHN) and School Health Nursing Teams.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will have a mentor to guide and support you, coordinating and enabling a successful transfer of existing experience and knowledge, whilst also gaining new skills necessary to become a competent, autonomous Community Nursery Nurse. You will be offered an induction and comprehensive training to ensure you are able to safely deliver aspects of the Universal offer of The Healthy Child Programme (2009). This is an evidence-based approach that makes a real difference to children’s lives during their most important years.

You will work with children and families, within the home, clinic setting or school/nursery, to assess children's health and child development to identify and support parents who require additional support.
