We have new opportunities within our All Age Continuing Care Specialist s117 Aftercare and Acquired Brain Injury Team. We are looking for clinical leaders with detailed knowledge in mental health and s117 aftercare, who are passionate about patient care and improving people's life opportunities. You must share our leadership values of being compassionate, person centred, honest, innovative, and collaborative.
As Clinical Team Leader (Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disabilities Nurse or Social Work registration with mental health specialism) you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals supporting clients who require care, treatment and support under the Mental Health Act, including overseeing comprehensive assessments of clients and championing a positive risk-taking approach alongside least restrictive practices and strengths-based approach.
You will have excellent leadership skills, able to motivate and support staff and lead compassionately. You will need extensive interpersonal and communication skills to establish good rapport with teams, stakeholders and clients and an ability to make decisions in a challenging but supportive environment.
You will have the opportunity to develop strong links with health and social care colleagues to ensure effective multi-disciplinary working and develop a strong understanding of local NHS and independent sector service provision in individuals' own homes and in care homes.
