The Community Perinatal Mental Health Service currently has an exciting opportunity to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Parent Infant Practitioner (PIP) to join the Team. The PIP role is a pivotal one within the multidisciplinary perinatal team, with a varied and diverse profile of interventions offered to women/birthing people and their families at a very crucial time of the parent/s and child life.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance family wellbeing within this mental health specialism. In addition, this is a new innovative opportunity for development of skills and knowledge in post, leading to pay progression. This development role starts at band 4 with progression to Band 5 once a competency framework is completed.

There will be access to specialist training to enable continued development of knowledge and key interventions to help enhance the parent/infant bond and attachment.
