We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated doctor to join our uniquely configured NHS Trust as a Locally Employed Doctor in Psychiatry. This post is ideally suited to someone with a strong interest in mental health and a passion for psychiatry, particularly those considering future specialist training within the specialty. While this role is not part of a formal training programme, the successful candidate will benefit from access to the same high-quality teaching, supervision, and developmental opportunities.
The post-holder will play an active and valued role within a well-established and highly effective mental health service. Responsibilities will include:
- Assessment and ongoing review of patients receiving secondary care interventions
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Contributing to high-quality, patient-centred psychiatric care
- Engaging in service development and clinical governance activities
