We are looking to expand our dynamic and compassionate Hampshire CAMHS Eating Disorder Team and are seeking an experienced and motivated Mental Health Nurse to join us in a specialist Duty and Assessment role. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team as the first point of contact, triaging new referrals and providing consultations, initial assessments, risk management and support to children and young people experiencing eating disorders and associated mental health difficulties.
The role offers flexibility, and the successful candidate can be predominately home based for duty elements or can use one of EDT bases; flexible working arrangements can be considered. All assessments however are face to face so the clinician will be expected to carry these out in one of our three locations in Hampshire. We also meet monthly as a team, and this meeting is held in Winchester. As the post is currently focused on duty and assessment work, there will be no case holding responsibilities.
