Our Client, a rapidly growing Mechanical Contractor, is searching for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to step into a live, high-value project in Kingston. This is a high-profile build with plenty of complexity and visibility. You’ll be taking the reins on a major mechanical package, leading the delivery of a new hospital development, working alongside the principal contractors and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive management of Health & Safety
- Planning, managing, executing and controlling projects
- Sole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier and subcontractor management
- Participate in bid/tender processes
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients
- Full man management responsibilities
Requirements
- Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in Mechanical discipline.
- Demonstrate experience working as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or currently working as a Project Manager from within the building services industry is essential.
- Working within Public Sector Contracts would be an advantage.
- Relevant Health and Safety qualifications such as a SMSTS/ISOH/NEBOSH
- Experience of delivering projects as the Mechanical Contractor
- Excellent working knowledge of all MS office applications
- To have successful experience in dealing directly with Clients and the public
- To work on his/her own initiative
