We are seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, fault-finding, and new installation services across multiple commercial sites throughout London. This role requires a proactive, mobile professional who can manage a diverse portfolio of gas systems and equipment, responding to both planned maintenance schedules and emergency call-outs. You will work independently and as part of a wider technical team, ensuring all work meets industry safety standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of commercial gas installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on commercial gas systems and equipment across multiple London sites
  • Diagnose and repair faults in gas installations, boilers, and associated equipment using systematic troubleshooting methods
  • Install new commercial gas systems and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety regulations
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and service requests from clients
  • Maintain detailed records of all work completed, including parts used, time spent, and technical findings
  • Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe Register requirements and relevant British Standards
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding work scope, timelines, and any issues identified
  • Manage time effectively to cover multiple sites and meet agreed service schedules
  • Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and system optimization
  • Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order and properly maintained
