We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable Plumbing Lecturer to join our Construction Team at our Centre of Excellence at our Pagefield site in Wigan. We are looking for candidates that have vast industry experience within the plumbing, heating and gas sector to help us deliver outstanding teaching and learning on our plumbing courses.
The Department is growing and has current provision, from level 1 to Level 3 advanced technical qualification and Apprenticeships courses including the new standards. Candidates are expected to be able to teach these levels, including Health and Safety, Hot and Cold Water, Sanitation, Central Heating, Plumbing Science and to hold a Level 3 qualification.
The department has a successful gas centre for internal apprentices and external candidates to successfully gain their gas qualification. Teaching experience is desirable, but we are looking for someone with the confidence to share their experience and knowledge with our students - we would provide support for gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us.

The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
