We are looking for a suitably qualified Lecturer with a relevant teaching qualification (or willing to work towards one) to join the Engineering Department. This is a mixed role focusing on Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Desired subject areas include PLCs, Engineering Mathematics and a strong Design Understanding.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organise and manage your own teaching diary.
  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, lab sessions and assessments in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering subjects.
  • Communicate effectively with learners and staff, using IT skills to support course delivery.
Qualifications and experience:
  • Relevant teaching qualification (or willing to obtain one).
  • Professional experience in PLCs, Engineering Mathematics and Design Understanding.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

You may be eligible to claim a levelling‑up premium payment for teaching engineering and manufacturing, ranging from £2,000 to £6,000, depending on provider and teaching hours.
