The predicted salary is between 13 - 17 £ per hour.

Based at our Adventure Playground in Norley Hall, you will support a stimulating programme of activity and engagement for children, young people and the wider community. Working as part of a team, you will develop positive and supportive relationships, empowering young people and families to help tackle some of the complex issues that affect children and young people in society today.

Role and responsibilities

  • You will need to be compassionate, fun, fair, not afraid to tackle something difficult, calm in a crisis and able to appropriately deal with challenging behaviour and safeguarding concerns.
  • You will also support wider health improvement initiatives as part of our organisational commitment to tackling local health inequalities.
  • The successful candidates will join the Be Well team at Norley Hall Adventure Playground at an exciting time following the reopening of the facility last year.
  • The post holders will support the Play & Community Co-ordinator in the delivery of services and activities for children and families.

Employment details

  • Salary: Grade 6, £15.31 - £16.89 per hour
  • Hours to be agreed (including working pattern) with the successful candidates
  • 2 x permanent positions
  • 1 x temporary position until 31st March 2027
