Salary: Grade 2, £5,517 - £5,604 per annum. £12.65 - £12.85 per hour

3 x 10 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

The Governors of Rowan Tree Primary School are wishing to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 1 Lunchtime Assistant who has experience of working with children with additional needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about helping children with special educational needs.
  • Is able to support children with SEN.
  • Is able to support with a range of additional needs in line with school practices and policies e.g. behaviour management, personal care, promoting life skills, developing play skills.
  • Will join in with school life and the wider school community.

Ideally any prospective applicants would be able to visit school during a lunchtime duty session to experience the duties carried out by lunchtime assistants and observe the care and nurture of our pupils. Visits can be arranged via the School Business Manager. To arrange a visit please call 01942 883928.

Rowan Tree Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of all pupils. Successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check and be required to sign themselves up to the DBS update service as an ongoing requirement of employment.
