Salary: Grade 12, £53,460 - £57,379 per annum. 37 hours per week.

Your role: You will lead the day-to-day operations of therapy and related teams within the Early Intervention Service, ensuring consistent, high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll manage Advanced Practitioners and support service improvements that promote independence, reduce waiting times, and embed digital solutions. Working closely with the Principal OT and Service Manager, you’ll uphold professional standards, drive performance, and contribute to strategic developments. You’ll also play a key role in delivering Wigan Council’s Progress with Unity missions, fostering inclusive, preventative services that help residents thrive.

About you: You are a qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and substantial experience in adult social care or health services. You bring strong leadership and operational management skills, with a proven ability to deliver service improvements and manage change. You’re confident in assessing and providing equipment and adaptations and have a solid understanding of early intervention approaches. You’re a collaborative, data-savvy professional who champions person-centred, asset-based practices and thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
