Ince Church of England Primary and Nursery school is a large two form entry Primary school in the heart of Ince. We are looking to appoint a Site Manager to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated School Site Manager to join our friendly team and play a vital role in the smooth and efficient running of our school.
About the role
As Site Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the whole school buildings and grounds are safe, secure and well-presented at all times. This will include daily, weekly, monthly and annual security, statutory and good practice checks. Your work will directly support the learning and wellbeing of our pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness and security of the whole school site.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and good practice checks and maintain accurate records.
- Carry out repairs, maintenance tasks and DIY Projects.
- Supervise contractors and ensure all work meets safeguarding and health and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage heating, lighting, and alarm systems.
- Monitor fire safety equipment and carry out fire drills.
- Act as school health and safety officer.
- Designated key holder and attend callouts outside of normal working hours.
- Take pride in the presentation of the school grounds.
- Support school events with set-up, logistics, and risk assessments.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in building maintenance, site management.
- Has good knowledge about health and safety and is willing to undertake additional relevant training.
- Is able to work flexibly and take initiative.
- Is practical, resourceful, can trouble shoot issues and scenarios independently.
- Is friendly, reliable and committed to their role in supporting our school community.

This is a full year role, with annual leave to be taken during school holiday periods.
During term time the working day will be a split shift, Monday to Friday.
Monday to Thursday 07.00am -10.00pm and 14.00pm – 18.00pm
Friday 07.00am -10.00am and 14.00pm -17.00pm
Working hours during the holiday periods can be worked as a block and not split shift.
