Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Temporary Pastoral Co-Ordinator to provide vital pastoral care and support to our pupils\\\’ mental and physical welfare. You will play a key role in encouraging positive attitudes and behaviour throughout our schools, ensuring every pupil feels supported and empowered to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pastoral care focused on pupils\\\’ mental and physical wellbeing, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes.
- Complete Early Help, Pastoral Support Plans (PSPs), and Personal Education Plans (PEPs), attending relevant meetings and reporting regularly to the Expert SENDCo.
- Update and manage pastoral record systems and assist the Designated Person with child protection responsibilities, ensuring thorough analysis and agreed actions.
- Manage the attendance policy and procedures in collaboration with the Headteacher/Expert SENDCo, monitoring attendance and implementing interventions.
- Deliver pre-determined Individual Education Plans (IEPs), PEPs, PSPs, and SEMH interventions, identifying and reporting pupils needing additional support.

- Experience working in a pastoral role within an educational or similar setting.
- Knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding protocols.
- Ability to manage and maintain detailed records and reports.
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH needs and delivering targeted interventions.
- Competence in liaising with multi-agency teams and parents.

Salary and Hours
Salary: QUEST Grade D, 22,789 – 24,700 per annum. 14.12 – 15.31 per hour
37 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year. Temporary.
