The Outdoor Adventure Team are looking to appoint an experienced cleaner to the residential team in Low Bank Ground. You will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day cleaning of Low Bank Ground and Hining House (when opened) residential centres is completed and up to a high standard. You will ensure that all change over cleans are completed prior to the next group’s arrival, most change over days are Fridays and Mondays.
You will supervise and line-manage Lakes Hospitality and Catering Operations Assistant roles. You will assist in the kitchen with preparation and serving of meals; training will be provided. You will support the site team with site duties required where necessary, this could be any of the team. There is the option to live on site if required and opportunity to try the outdoor activities on offer.
You must be able to demonstrate the following essential requirements:
- Experience of cleaning buildings in the hospitality industry.
- Experience of coordinating on-site cleaning tasks.
- Experience of working with COSHH systems and the managing of this.
- Knowledge of health and safety at work.
- Ability to use a range of equipment.
- Literacy and numeracy skills.
- Willingness to undertake a food hygiene course.
- Ability to recognise and ensure a safe environment.
- Good people skills in order to line manage team members.
