About us: Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem—our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn't an option. And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities. Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them. Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms. We take the complexity out of connectivity.
The opportunity: The Continuous Improvement Manager supports the delivery of Wifinity's operational excellence agenda by executing improvement initiatives, optimising processes, and embedding consistent ways of working across Operations. The role focuses on translating defined strategy into practical, measurable improvements that enhance efficiency, service quality, and scalability. Working closely with operational and functional teams, the role acts as a hands-on improvement lead and change agent within day-to-day operations.
Key areas of focus: Joining our Operations team you will play a key role in Wifinity's success by driving practical, data-led business change. The role focuses on developing and executing improvement initiatives, embedding standardised processes, and enabling consistent ways of working across teams. Your day to day role will consist of the following responsibilities; you may be required to carry out further responsibilities at the company's discretion.
- Translate strategic objectives and senior-level priorities into operational improvement initiatives and measurable goals.
- Work across functions to ensure improvements are aligned and deliver end-to-end value rather than isolated gains.
- Identify, analyse, and support prioritisation of process improvement opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain process maps, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead and deliver transformation initiatives (e.g. digital tools, automation, partner enablement) through process design and operational readiness.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g. Delivery, NOC, Finance, IT) to embed operational excellence into daily execution.
About you: You will be a driver and advocate of change, customer focused but strong business acumen. You are excellent at working with a diverse range of stakeholders and comfortable in a technical and non-technical environment. We are looking for someone that has delivered:
- Documented end-to-end process maps and standardised operational playbooks.
- Regular operational performance insights, including KPIs and root cause analysis.
- Measurable efficiency, quality, and cost improvements delivered through improvement initiatives.
- Evidence of continuous improvement practices embedded within operational teams.
Your experience: Experience in operational excellence, process improvement, program management or business transformation roles. Practical application of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Practical experience of JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce an advantage.
It would be nice to also have but not essential: Experience in the telecommunications sector and working with 3rd parties. Agile methodologies such as Kanban.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes an ‘Annual Leave Buy & Sell Scheme', in addition to a remote first working environment, allowing our employees more flexibility when it comes to the importance of a healthy work / life balance. Please be aware that the successful applicant to this role will receive an offer which is subject to the satisfactory completion of a basic level DBS check. At Wifinity we are committed to providing a positive environment in which individuals do not encounter bullying or harassment on the basis of protected characteristics which are identified by law (including sexual harassment). We are committed to treating candidates and employees with courtesy, dignity and respect.
