About us: Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem - our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn't an option. And that problem isn't exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities. Conventional home broadband doesn't always work for them. Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms. We take the complexity out of connectivity.

The opportunity: The Bid Manager leads the delivery of high-quality, compliant bid and tender submissions, owning opportunities from qualification through to contract award. Working cross-functionally, the role ensures the development of compelling, client-focused proposals that align to commercial objectives and maximise win rates across all sectors. This role is responsible for driving improvements to processes and ways of working within the bid team and at the interface between the bid function and other departments.

  • Shape win themes and ensure clear, client-focused messaging throughout submissions

  • Drive adoption and effective use of bid tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and quality
  • Use data and insights to support decision-making, pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to enhance automation and streamline bid workflows

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Take ownership of compliance to tender requirements, ensuring all submissions meet client specifications
  • Lead quality reviews, ensuring submissions are compelling, accurate and professionally presented
  • Maintain governance processes, including approvals and sign-off checkpoints
  • Ensure all commercial, legal and regulatory requirements are met

Stakeholder & Process Management:

  • Act as the central point of leadership in coordinating cross-functional input into bids
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Pre‑Sales, Finance, Legal and Operations
  • Track progress against milestones, proactively managing risks and dependencies
  • Provide regular updates on bid status, pipeline health and key risks

Commercial & Strategic Contribution:

  • Support pricing and commercial activities
  • Contribute to bid/no-bid decisions based on strategic fit, risk and likelihood of success
  • Align bid outputs to broader sales and growth objectives
  • Analyse bid performance and drive improvements to processes and approaches
  • Improve templates, governance, knowledge sources and best practices across the bid function
  • Support development of junior team members and contribute to team capability growth
