As a HR Business Partner you will be a trusted advisor to your assigned business areas, delivering proactive and high‐quality HR support, building strong relationships, supporting people decisions and contributing to consistent and compliant HR practices. You will be primarily supporting our various corporate functions which include Sales, IT, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, and Customer Services.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support on employee relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
- Coach line managers to build confidence in people management
- Collaborate with HR teams to deliver people initiatives and projects
- Support organisational change including restructures and consultation
- Analyse people data to identify trends and recommend actions
- Lead cyclical HR processes including performance reviews
- Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with UK employment law
- Support recruitment, onboarding and induction activities
- Promote engagement, wellbeing and inclusion across sites
This role supports the delivery of strong people practices, helping our teams run effectively while maintaining a consistent and fair approach for colleagues. It contributes to a positive working environment and supports long‐term business performance. There are opportunities for collaboration across the wider HR team. This role is based in Cheadle (near Stockport) with regular travel to our office in Sandtoft (Doncaster). These locations are accessible by road and are within reach of local towns and cities across the region. Free parking is available at the sites. Full time, Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm.
Essential Qualifications
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly
- Strong experience in HR partnering with operational leadership teams
- Experience managing employee relations casework
- Good knowledge of UK employment law
- Strong communication and coaching skills
