Join us as a Site Manager (12 Month FTC). Wienerberger Ltd manufactures and provides wall, roof and landscaping products for the construction sector. We offer innovative and sustainable solutions across the whole building envelope for new build, renovation projects and across the building industry.
About The Role
As a Site Manager you will be the trusted lead on site at our Broomfleet factory, overseeing safe and well organised construction activity while supporting delivery against programme, quality and cost. You’ll work closely with contractors, designers and project teams to build high quality outcomes and maintain strong health and safety standards across Factory E. This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.
Duties Also Include:
- Ensuring full compliance with CDM 2015 regulations and site health and safety requirements
- Implementing and monitoring the construction phase plan and safe systems of work
- Managing the day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractors and trades
- Monitoring progress against programme and taking action where required
- Maintaining accurate site records including inspections, permits and safety documentation
- Leading site meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Ensuring all works meet required quality standards and specifications
- Planning and allocating labour, materials and equipment to maintain productivity
Your leadership helps protect our people, supports consistent project delivery and builds trust with partners and customers. Your work plays a key part in maintaining standards we’re proud of and outcomes our customers rely on. This role is based at Factory E at our Broomfleet site, within easy reach of Hull, Goole and surrounding towns, with straightforward road access from the A63 and nearby transport links.
Working hours: Full time site-based role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Essential About you:
- Good experience managing construction sites and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and health and safety legislation
- SMSTS certification and valid CSCS manager card
- Good communication skills with the ability to lead and influence on site
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Desirable:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial construction environment
- Temporary works coordinator or supervisor certification
