Join us as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Wienerberger Ltd manufactures and provides wall, roof and landscaping products for the construction sector. We offer innovative and sustainable solutions across the whole building envelope for new build and renovation projects.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (known as a Mechanical Fitter internally), you will be part of an in-house engineering team that keeps production running safely and reliably. You will work hands-on with plant and equipment, supporting planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns to help maintain consistent output and quality.

Your work will help us deliver reliable production of high-quality bricks for building/construction customers across the UK, supporting the performance and resilience of our operations. Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering background with good experience in manufacturing environments
- Level 3 qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline
- Experience in heavy manufacturing industry
- Arc and MIG welding or basic fabrication skills
- Experience with electrical control systems
Weekly paid. Average annual salary is £44,425 (inclusive of allowances and bonuses). Overtime is available to increase earning potential.
