Production Operative – wienerberger UK

About The Role
As a Production Operative you will be fully trained to work with specialised tools and machinery, turning raw materials into products ready for use in the construction industry. You will operate factory machinery, equipment, and forklifts while ensuring high levels of health and safety. You will be supported by the Team Leader to maintain smooth, efficient, and safe production flow and receive full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Carry out various machinery operations
- Ensure optimum production targets, minimum waste, and high quality standards
- Load and unload various vehicles
- Participate in any training requested to enhance your role
- Perform yard and factory cleaning tasks
- Assist the Quality department
Hours of Work
7.00 am to 6.30 pm (shifts)
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
About You

- Committed to safety with good general safety awareness
- Fit enough to perform varied and sometimes physically demanding duties
- Good literacy skills for paperwork

- Optional: Current / valid RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or CPCS forklift truck license
Experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential; full training is provided.
