About the Role

As Customer Service Advisor you will deliver outstanding service, build strong relationships, and handle customer orders accurately. The role is known as a Customer Support Advisor internally. You will make sure that our logistics team are kept up to date which helps our products arrive at when our customers expect. This is a friendly and supportive team based at our Head Office in Cheadle. We provide excellent training and coaching to help you succeed, as well as opportunities for you to develop your career further with us.

Your duties are varied and include:

  • Maintaining relationships with our external sales team representatives
  • Involvement in customer visits and attending some sales meetings
  • Data checking & verifying order schedules
  • Providing customers with regular updates on their orders
  • Supporting the sales team with pricing queries and investigating complaints/problems

Hours of Work: 35 hours a week. Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm or 8am to 4pm.

About You

You will be an experienced Customer Service professional who has worked with customers in a B2B (business to business) environment. You will have had proven experience building relationships with your customers, supporting them with various tasks, such as taking orders, answering queries, and investigating any complaints/issues. Most importantly, you will have a positive attitude and a passion for customer service excellence. You’ll also have:

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Experience working with clients professionally via phone and email
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience building longer term relationships
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc)
  • Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Good team playing skills
