Join us as a HR Business Partner (Multi Site - West Midlands). Wienerberger Ltd manufactures and provides wall, roof and landscaping products for the construction sector. We offer innovative and sustainable solutions across the whole building envelope for new build and renovation projects.
As a HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the factory leadership in your region, delivering proactive and high-quality HR support, building strong relationships, supporting people decisions, and contributing to consistent and compliant HR practices.
Duties include:
- Provide advice and support on employee relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management.
- Coach line managers to build confidence in people management.
- Collaborate with HR teams to deliver people initiatives and projects.
- Support organisational change including restructures and consultation.
- Analyse people data to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Lead cyclical HR processes including performance reviews.
- Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with UK employment law.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction activities.
- Promote engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion across sites.
This role supports the delivery of strong people practices, helping sites run effectively while maintaining a consistent and fair approach for colleagues. It contributes to a positive working environment and supports long-term business performance. There are opportunities for collaboration across the wider HR team.
This role is based across multiple sites in the Midlands including Sandown (Aldridge, Walsall) and Waresley, Hartlebury, and Droitwich in Worcestershire. You will be expected to visit these sites on a weekly basis, so travel is frequent. These locations are accessible by road and are within reach of local towns and cities across the region. Free parking is available at the sites. Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
About you
Essential:
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly.
- Strong experience in HR partnering with operational leadership teams.
- Experience managing employee relations casework.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law.
- Strong communication and coaching skills.
- Ability to work through change and ambiguity.
- Resilient and solutions-focused approach.
Desirable:
- Degree in HR or related field.
- Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with trade unions.
- Experience developing HR policies.
