As a Technical Manager for our Wall products, you will be a trusted advisor supporting technical and design activities across our products including Porotherm, brick and façades. You’ll collaborate across teams and with customers to ensure high-quality solutions and technical excellence.
Duties also include:
- Manage special brick design and project enquiries
- Handle design and construction issues with a solution-focused approach
- Support investigation and resolution of product performance complaints
- Deliver CPD presentations to clients
- Develop systems and processes to reduce complaints
- Provide technical support on customer enquiries
- Support production of technical literature
- Manage CAD drawings for specials and detailed design work
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver product training across the business
There are strong opportunities for development and collaboration across teams. This role is based from our Cheadle office (near Stockport) with good access via major road and transport networks. Free parking is available on-site. Travel is occasionally required to sites and customers.
About you
Essential
- Strong technical knowledge of construction materials and wall systems
- Experience supporting technical design and specification
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience with CAD or design systems
- Experience delivering training or CPDs
