Role Overview:
As a Junior IT Asset Specialist, you will be an integral part of the IT Asset Management team, reporting to the IT Logistics Lead for EMEA. In this role, you will support the management of IT inventory, from receiving and counting products to setting up and delivering them to internal stakeholders. You'll also assist with hardware and software procurement on behalf of the IT organisation and help ensure accurate tracking of assets throughout their lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is detail-oriented and keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT procurement and inventory management operations.
- Help maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets.
- Manage inventory of equipment and other IT assets.
- Assist with device imaging and provisioning for new hires, testing, upgrades, and replacements.
- Support reverse logistics for returned and offboard assets.
- Help identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest effective solutions.
- Coordinate client requests and ensure timely responses.
- Help develop and follow procedures to track company assets and maintain quality control throughout their life-cycles.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in asset management or a similar IT support role.
- Some experience providing support in a professional IT environment is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Natural problem solver with a passion for finding innovative solutions.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Exposure to queue management is a plus.
