Our client is a global leading high tech/electronics manufacturing company:

They are looking for an Ignition/MES System Analyst/Engineer to work with the engineering team to bridge manufacturing floor operations and MES systems, analyse real-time production data and focus on daily system operation post implementation of Ignition:
- On site Ignition system configuration and its connectivity with machine floor
- Reduce manual data entry (yield, temps, run times, serials)
- Data reporting in Ignition and MES, provide analytics, reports and visuals for the teams and business leaders
- On-going support for MES/Ignition maintenance and configuration
- Creating dashboards to track production KPIs
- Manage MES workflows, master data, product specifications, and data collection structure
- Analyse operational and manufacturing data to identify inefficiencies and improve workflows
Requirements:
- Must have experience with Ignition (MES or MQTT or IIoT or SCADA, any of these)
- Experience with MES systems, particularly in industries like pharmaceuticals, electronics, semi-conductor, automotive, bio-tech, engineering or high-tech manufacturing
- Good experience in data analysis
- Strong communication skills
Long term contract, initially 12 months contract and will extend the contract yearly afterwards. Likely to be inside IR35 contract but we can do outside IR35 contract if passes IR35 assessment and our client offers a competitive daily rate depending on experience to match your expectation and compensation on the accommodation cost near Abingdon area. Please note that this role is 4 days on site, full time Monday to Friday.
