Our client is one of the world's top hands-free video streaming technology companies with over 6500 staff globally across EMEA, NA, APAC, and the Middle East. They are growing rapidly with cutting-edge AR and VR technologies.
It's a very exciting time for our client as they are moving forward with their new product manufacturing process and release. They are looking for an IT project coordinator to work with stakeholders, system engineers, vendors, and process engineers at their new manufacturing site in Abingdon:
- Work alongside the infrastructure and system engineer on site and help coordinate all technical specs, technical concepts, documentation, and resources needed for their new MES (manufacturing execution system) installation, configuration, and integration.
- Communicate with business stakeholders to gather their feedback and requirements.
- Work with MES vendors to gather technical information.
- Communicate with all parties involved and ensure alignment.
- Documentation and reporting.
- Monitor ongoing IT projects.
Requirements:
- 1 year+ experience working as a project engineer or project coordinator ideally in an IT environment such as service desk, IT infrastructure, IT support, system engineering, or software implementation, with a good understanding of IT terminology.
- Ideally familiar with manufacturing and cleanroom environments.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Proactive and organized.
Please note this role requires 5 days on site in Abingdon (OX14) where they have a manufacturing site and cleanroom. A cleanroom suit will be provided and must be used for safety reasons when entering the cleanroom areas for any project-related work.
Initially a 10-month full-time contract starting ASAP until 31st December 2026 with the option to extend yearly afterwards. Contract is inside IR35, offering £275 per day, which works out to £3900 per month after tax to take home. Monday to Friday standard business hours.
