This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, family-run waste management business where your contribution will make a real difference! We are looking for an experienced Class 1 – Low Loader Driver to join our team at Widdington Recycling Ltd.

Duties include:

  • Operating a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently in line with all road traffic laws and company procedures
  • Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
  • Load and unload cargo securely to prevent damage during transport
  • Plan delivery routes effectively to maximise efficiency and meet schedules
  • Maintain accurate transport records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery progress, delays, or any issues encountered
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed professionally and provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and transport compliance procedures at all times
