Role Overview

Wickham Hoist Ltd lift division are looking for a routine maintenance engineer for routes in various areas located in Kent. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and lift owners/customers by safely maintaining a portfolio of Lifts and permanent Hoist Elevator units.
On a typical day you will:
- Always work safely and to the Company standards.
- Carry out 100% of the lift maintenance and service across the defined area within Kent and Southeast region.
- Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
- Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation reporting accurately any parts required or condition issues with the lift.
- Be the face of the business, working with customers to provide professional overview of work carried out and any advisories following the service visit are reported.
What you will need to be successful:
- Hold a NVQ level 3 or equivalent within lift service, maintenance, or repair.
- Hold a valid drivers license.
- You have at least 12 months of experience in the lift industry.
- You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering reading drawings.
- You are a committed professional, with safety and customer care as your priority.
- You are a good communicator, working as part of a team.
- You are motivated, adaptable, and you can work alone or in a team.
- You can use electronic and digital tools when required.
