The role
If you’re passionate about providing a great customer experience join us as a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Consultant. You’ll help customers design and create spaces that make a real difference in their homes. From the first conversation in our showroom to visiting them at home, you’ll guide them through the process with care.
You’ll take the time to understand what matters to them, offer product advice, and use your design knowledge to bring their ideas to life. Every project is unique and every project matters. Deliver our full Wickes customer journey: whether it’s in-store, virtual, or at a customer’s home, you’ll treat every customer with the same attention. You’ll also be proactive in generating leads within your showroom.
Create inspiring designs using our design tools, presenting and refining ideas in collaboration with customers. Look after your showroom maintaining displays and keeping up our high standards. Stay compliant with all company policies and regulations including finance, GDPR, and health & safety.
You’re customer-focused: you’re a great listener who enjoys helping customers and building trusted relationships. You’re sales driven and results-minded: you’re experienced in consultative selling and are motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets while doing what’s right for our customers. You’re creative and practical: you can see the possibilities in a space and know how to make ideas work. You’re industry savvy: you keep up to date with the latest trends and understand your local market.
Some experience of using design tools would be desirable, however a working knowledge of similar tools such as AutoCAD or Photoshop would be an advantage. You will also need a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as you’ll visit customers at home.
