We are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst for FP&A, to join our team in our Support Centre in Watford. This is an important finance role to deliver financial analysis, reporting and Investor Relations support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with various FP&A team deliverables, including supporting the end to end budget / forecasting / outlook cycles, leading the budget upload process and assisting with various data manipulation and slide preparation tasks.
- Coordinate the submission of the Wickes P&L flash, liaising and communicating deadlines with the wider finance team as necessary, and review the flash before creating a flash pack for dissemination.
- Assist with the completion of the periodic management accounts, providing appropriate commentary.
- Complete monthly LFL reporting and analysis.
- Investor relations support to manage consensus, review analyst notes, create a fact-pack, roll forward documents and summarise competitor results.
- Investor relations support to manage logistics, meeting notes and other ad hoc IR duties.
- Manage the capex plan in terms of what has been approved, timing of spend, ROI, budgets and forecasts.
- Ad hoc analysis as required by Director of FP&A / Senior FP&A Manager / IR Director.
What are we looking for
- Part qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Ability to draw conclusions and insight from data analysis.
- Some understanding of P&L and balance sheet.
- Strong spreadsheet skills.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise work.
