What you’ll be doing:
- Home Energy Solutions digital planning. Build, budget and coordinate the Digital plan to ensure delivery of activities, measure results and optimise. This includes but is not limited to plans for visibility on the website (Trading, Content) and digital marketing (PPC, Email, etc.).
- eCommerce. You’ll be responsible for the Home Energy Solutions website experience in order to maximise the volume of form submissions / appointments / leads, and Sales. Based on insights and best practice, you’ll propose continuous improvements, test & learn, to drive change and growth.
- Content. You’ll ensure the content on the website is relevant and deliver the best possible informational content in order to give users reasons to confidently choose Wickes Home Energy Solutions and to submit forms / book appointments - and subsequently invest in products and services. Working alongside the Digital Experience team to build and improve content, and with the SEO team to maximise Organic search reach.
- Traffic Driving to www.wickes.co.uk/wickes-solar, https://www.wickes.co.uk/Products/Renewable-Energy/c/1001021, and others. You’ll drive traffic by working alongside our Digital Marketing, CRM, Social teams and agencies, ensuring coverage and optimisation of marketing spend.
- Reporting & Insights. You’ll work in setting up reporting with Analytics & Insights colleagues in order to report on Home Energy Solutions KPIs performance (e.g. traffic, conversion, QR codes use, etc.), and will surface key insights to drive improvements and change.
- Stakeholders management. You’ll be a key marketing contact with the Solar teams, Commercially, third parties. They will be attending regular meetings and sessions with them to feed into the conversations on how we drive Home Energy Solutions further.
- Representation. You’ll be the ‘voice’ of Home Energy Solutions within the broader Digital Team, but also across Marketing in general, and beyond.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally you’ll be of graduate calibre and we expect you’ll have 4-6+ years experience in marketing, digital marketing and/or eCommerce to succeed in this role.
- A ‘digital / marketing all rounder’ experienced across various functions and channels, gaining a broad understanding of various KPIs (e.g. traffic, ROAS / ROI, conversion, etc.).
- Excellent planning skills, to budget, build campaigns, present timelines, and ensure delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management – ability to build relationships and liaise with business and external stakeholders (agency management) to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues/risks.
- Strategic mindset that fully understands how to deliver vs Marketing/Business requirements.
- Proactively utilised data driven insights to drive action.
- The ability to articulate performance summary and insights.
- The ability to bring people on their journey (Wickes Solar & Home Energy is still relatively new, among a lot of categories), and to influence.
- Google Analytics / GA4, Google Looker Studio and experience of CMS systems.
- Google Sheets / Excel and Contentsquare experience.
- An interest in sustainability, renewable and home energy solutions is a plus.
