We’re looking for a POS Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. You’ll be responsible for the creative development and production of all our in‑store Point of Sale (POS), ensuring effective in‑store execution and efficient production against a busy trading plan.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Initiate, develop and maintain robust processes to manage and deliver POS for the trading calendar and ad‑hoc in‑store activity.
  • Own relationships with retail, studio and insight agencies and production suppliers to ensure the business partners with the most appropriate third‑parties and budgets are spent for best value.
  • Own and manage the POS budget.
  • Produce accurate phasing by period and report potential overspends or savings to the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Manage one direct report and be responsible for their development.
  • Cross‑functional stakeholder management, including working relationships and communication with key influencers and stakeholders in other departments such as Commercial, Trade Planning and Retail Operations.
  • Become the gatekeeper, challenging the status quo and striving for improvement in the development of Point of Sale communications.
  • Act as a key stakeholder and advocate of the Brand Guidelines, ensuring they are up to date and applied to in‑store communications, while challenging them when required for your channel.
  • Regularly visit stores to obtain robust operational feedback regarding POS and produce recommendations to improve execution, including competitive shopper analysis.
  • Lead the relationships with external suppliers to deliver the brief and scope on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrate Wickes’ behaviours to support your own development goals and help others.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in retail marketing or agency environment with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the creative process, artwork and print production.
  • Track record of delivering projects to budget and managing sign‑off, stakeholder management and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to brief art‑workers, designers and suppliers.

Working Arrangements

You’ll work from our Support Centre in Watford where the Marketing team is based, along with other support functions. We value collaboration and encourage flexible working with a blend of remote and office.
