This is a great opportunity if you’re an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual who is keen to kick your career. You’ll support the Marketing teams and the wider business by delivering business critical analysis, allowing the business to practise data led decision making. You’ll achieve this by clear and concise communication of occasionally complex information, suitable for various audiences, to support the Marketing teams in a wide variety of areas. These include customer behaviour, shopping channel insight, loyalty scheme data and a wide variety of other business metrics. What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving Customer-Centric Decisions: Utilise customer data to generate comprehensive reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights for the wider business. This includes managing reporting for our TradePro loyalty scheme and supporting the Voice of Customer CSAT programme to ensure decisions are informed by customer perspectives. You will employ appropriate metrics and data visualisations to present information clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Delivering Analytical Support and Insight: Provide analytical support for a wide range of business questions and conduct thorough investigations to present clear, evidence-based conclusions. Specifically, you will deliver data-driven insights into customer behaviour and cross‑channel metrics to enhance and optimise the multichannel customer experience.
  • Monitoring Market and Competitor Activity: Stay informed about macro economy, retail, and customer trends, including delivering timely reports on macroeconomic indicators like Consumer Confidence, as well as market share. You will also undertake regular competitor visits to understand and report on activity, helping to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
  • Enhancing Analytics Capability: You will refine coding standards, implement advanced techniques to accelerate analytics, and utilise AI to expedite coding and analysis for new projects.

What we’re looking for:

  • Education to degree level (numerical preferred), with at least A level Maths.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and data handling, with experience in a programming language such as SQL or BigQuery (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills combined with confident communication skills.
  • An understanding and interest in the basics of analysis.
  • Team supporter.

  • Discount platform including savings and cash back at numerous retailers, savings on gym membership, cycle to work scheme.
  • Our wellbeing strategy includes health and wellbeing benefits and support, including an Employee Assistance Programme, financial education & loans, and access to parental, menopause and fertility support.

We are giving you a career that doesn’t put your life on hold. You can be yourself, do your best work, and make a positive difference every day.

We aim to create an inclusive workplace with colleagues’ wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. We’re a Disability Confident Employer and committed to building a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
