We are excited to offer a new opportunity for an Enterprise Data Architect to join our community of Solution, Data and Infrastructure Architects. Reporting to the Director of Technology Office , you will shape and drive our enterprise-wide data strategy, to establish best practices and guidelines for data management, integration and insights.

The Enterprise Data Architect will work closely with our product owners and product/project managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be accountable for the data architecture & design, and you will oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide data models, governance frameworks, and architectural standards.
- You’ll guide the design & development of scalable data pipelines and solutions that support our retail operations across the customer journey and channels.
- With excellent communication skills, you will partner with Senior Business and Product Owners to translate business strategy into architectural solutions.
- Collaboration is key across product, service and architect communities to support both operational and analytical needs
- Leadership is key in order to mentor Solution Architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence and developing training programs to enhance data literacy across the business
- Communicate the use cases and value of data through workshops, proof of concepts in partnership with business and technology partners
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with proven experience in data architecture with a track record in large-scale data transformation initiatives. We are looking for deep technical expertise and retail domain knowledge and familiarity with Retail Industry Logical Data Models.
Alongside this you will also bring:
- Strong experience in Data Management and Analytics in Google and AWS platforms
- Experience of Information Security and GDPR, privacy and compliance regulations
- Data Modeling and Machine Learning
- It would be advantageous to have knowledge in / or / be familiar with Application Integration, and AI/Deep Learning Techniques
- Excellent analytical, planning, organisational and technical and skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
