We are hiring! The aim will be to foster the growth of Wickes’ Business to Business (B2B) operations by working closely with and supporting the B2B TradePro National Account Manager, B2B Marketing Manager, and cross-functional teams. This role focuses on supporting the National Account Manager in generating and managing a sustainable pipeline of work that aligns with Wickes’ B2B business strategy and TradePro B2B expansion plans. The role objective will also be to enhance operational efficiency and performance within the commercial team for TradePro by managing customer recruitment processes, maintaining accurate databases, and providing detailed reports. Support internal and external stakeholders to drive the company’s long-term strategy.

This role requires regular travel therefore it is imperative the successful candidate holds a UK drivers licence. As it is a remote role with regular travel, you will only need to be in our head office in Watford once every two weeks, therefore there is a great deal of flexibility with where the successful candidate is based.

  • Support, identify and drive the inclusion of new opportunities in the Win Work pipeline.
  • Support the NAM with CRM maintenance and ensuring accurate records.
  • Assist with onboarding, internal reporting and administration, serving as an additional contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead early-stage outreach with prospects through combinations of email, phone, and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Provide essential feedback to the product development team, helping refine the MVP based on customer interactions and responses.
  • Utilise CRM system to manage potential client relationships, record activities, and maintain sales process visibility.
  • Manage pipeline reporting (performance vs. Use Wickes TradPro data to consider implications for existing and new sectors.
  • Work with the Customer Insights team to understand trends, business and project drivers of sectors, customers, and potential B2B opportunities.
  • Build on an established network of contacts across Wickes’ B2B target sectors to bring opportunities into the business that can be converted into partners.
  • Coordinate potential client quotes and project tenders with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the National Account Manager in managing client relationships and ensure a robust client relationship management strategy.
  • Ensure effective management of customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Prepare programs of external communication, customer engagement, and brand promotion that will contribute to Wickes’ objectives.

B2B Relationship Building: Experience in building and nurturing B2B relationships to deliver improved service and innovation to the customer. Experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce, D365) reporting applications and presentations. Formal selling skills training is advantageous.
