Be part of something new! We're thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our brand-new store, and we're looking for enthusiastic Customer Service Assistants to join our team! We have up to 24 exciting opportunities available for friendly, motivated individuals who want to be part of something special right from day one.
Our new store will be based on a retail park - Unit 1, Fylands Drive, DL14 9AH. We have several contracts available to give you that work-life balance, these include 8 hours, 16 hours, 20 hours, 24 hours and 32 hours per week, all permanent positions.
This is your chance to step into an exciting opportunity and help shape an amazing new team from day one! You'll receive the best training ahead of our grand opening, empowering you to create an unforgettable shopping experience for our customers.
Please note that training/onboarding will be in Durham store - St Andrews Park, DH1 2RH.
Shift Patterns:
- Early: 7am - 4pm
- Early: 10am - 2pm
- Mid: 10am - 4pm
- Late: 4pm - 8pm
The Role
No two days are the same. As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll help keep the store running smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Keeping shelves fully stocked and looking great
- Supporting with deliveries and replenishment
- Ensuring trolleys and baskets are available
- Helping maintain a clean, safe and organised store
- Operating the tills and providing a friendly checkout experience
Whatever you're doing, your focus will always be on making every customer's visit easy, enjoyable and memorable.
About You
We're looking for friendly, reliable people who enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. You'll ideally have experience in a retail or customer-facing role, but just as importantly, you'll have:

- Great communication skills
