Are you looking for your next opportunity within CRM Marketing? Wickes is a digitally led, service enabled business currently undergoing extensive digital and data transformation. We’re looking for an enthusiastic CRM Executive to join the CRM team and help in supporting this journey. You’ll be someone who can engage all levels of the business to manage, co-ordinate and deliver our CRM marketing multi-channel contact strategy, designed to drive more customers to shop across our Trade, DIY and Design & Installation audiences. Ideally, you’ll have some CRM experience with hands-on operational experience in campaign planning, building, implementing and testing CRM communication programmes which drive behaviour change and positive ROI. A confident communicator and collaborative team player who is looking to work within a great team would be very welcome. The role will sit within the CRM Marketing Team reporting to the CRM Manager. You will be required to work cross-functionally with other teams in Digital, including Trading, Digital Design and Development teams, while working with other stakeholders in our Marketing, Showroom Operations, Commercial & IT departments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for managing the planning, production, delivery & performance of email campaigns to support the weekly customer email programme.
- Ownership of building, testing and signing off email campaigns according to the CRM campaign schedule.
- Working with the CRM Managers to define and agree the contents of weekly emails to support the business trading plan.
- Work cross-functionally with the Digital, Brand Communications and Trade Planning teams to ensure campaigns are on brand and in line with campaign requirements.
- Assist in the data planning and targeting to support all email activity working with the CRM Managers, Customer Database Manager & external CRM agency.
- Responsible for briefing the CRM agency on the upcoming CRM activity including campaign creative, content, targeting and personalisation.
- Ensure all test variants are planned and implemented successfully in the weekly email programme as part of ongoing testing.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of CRM campaigns, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintenance of the weekly CRM communications calendar to support weekly marketing plan.
- Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
- Deliver campaigns on time whilst ensuring they are legally compliant (GDPR).
- Responsible for the set up of online marketing codes.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience of working as an email marketing assistant or executive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with email service platforms, CRM platforms and data analysis tools.
- Good understanding of email marketing.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail - ensuring email campaigns are accurately executed.
- Excellent stakeholder management - ability to build relationships and liaise with business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues/risks.
- Self-starter that is driven and proactive.
- Comfortable working across multiple initiatives at a fast pace to tight deadlines.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
