An elite US law firm is seeking an exceptional Venture Capital Associate (NQ–3 PQE) to join its market-leading London practice. The team is renowned for acting for disruptive businesses from inception through to exit, offering exposure to cutting-edge industries including AI, fintech, software, digital infrastructure, life sciences and deep technology.
Key Responsibilities- Advising founders, emerging companies and investors on venture capital and growth equity financings
- Supporting clients across seed, Series A, Series B and later-stage investment rounds
- Assisting on strategic acquisitions, exits, reorganisations and broader corporate matters
- Working directly with entrepreneurs, investors and senior stakeholders from an early stage
- Collaborating with colleagues across the US, Europe and Asia on international transactions
- Developing long-term relationships within the innovation and venture capital community
The successful candidate will:
- Be UK or US qualified
- Have between NQ–3 years' PQE within a leading Corporate, Venture Capital, ECVC or M&A practice
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in technology, venture capital and high-growth businesses
- Possess strong technical ability and commercial judgement
- Enjoy working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
- Ideally have experience advising on venture financings, growth investments or private M&A transactions
- Market-leading practice focused on the innovation economy
- Exposure to many of the world's most exciting founders, scale-ups and investors
- Lean deal teams with exceptional levels of responsibility and client contact
