A leading international law firm is seeking a talented junior associate to join its highly regarded Private Funds team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a market-leading practice advising prominent sponsors, asset managers and institutional investors on the structuring, formation and operation of a wide range of investment funds.

The team advises on:

  • Private Equity Funds
  • Credit Funds
  • Infrastructure Funds
  • Real Estate Funds
  • Co-Investments and Secondaries

The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on sophisticated domestic and cross-border matters, gaining exposure to high-profile clients and complex fund structures from an early stage. Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on the establishment and operation of private investment funds
  • Drafting and negotiating fund documentation
  • Assisting with investor negotiations and side letters
  • Supporting on regulatory and structuring matters
  • Working collaboratively across international offices and practice groups

Requirements:

  • England & Wales qualified solicitor
  • NQ–2 PQE with strong private funds experience
  • Experience gained at a recognised City, US or international law firm
  • Strong academic background and excellent technical ability
  • Commercially minded with strong interpersonal skills
