An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a 3+ PQE Corporate M&A Associate to join the London office of a top-tier US law firm. The team is widely recognised for advising on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market, acting for leading private equity sponsors, multinational corporates and financial institutions across a broad range of sectors. This role offers exposure to premium, cross-border deal flow within a high-performing and intellectually rigorous environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on UK and cross-border private M&A transactions
- Acting on private equity deals, including buyouts, exits and minority investments
- Supporting public M&A transactions, including takeovers and schemes of arrangement
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents (SPAs, shareholders’ agreements, investment agreements)
- Managing due diligence processes and coordinating multi-jurisdictional teams
- Leading discrete workstreams and supporting on overall deal execution
- Developing direct client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives

Candidate Profile
- England & Wales qualified (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
- 3+ PQE gained at a leading City, US or international firm
- Strong experience in private M&A and/or private equity transactions
- Exposure to cross-border work and complex deal structures
- Excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail
- Commercially astute with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Ambitious, proactive and keen to operate at a high level
