Strong insurance experience, ideally within the London insurance market, is essential.
The RoleWorking closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide pragmatic legal advice across a varied range of commercial and strategic matters.
Responsibilities will include: Providing commercial and strategic legal advice to the businessAdvising on insurance-related legal and regulatory mattersDrafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreementsSupporting senior stakeholders on complex and business-critical mattersIdentifying and managing legal and regulatory riskWorking collaboratively with teams across the wider international businessManaging external counsel where appropriateCandidate ProfileWe are interested in speaking with lawyers who: Are qualified solicitors or equivalentHave strong insurance sector experienceHave a good understanding of the London insurance marketCan provide practical, commercially focused legal adviceAre comfortable working directly with senior business stakeholdersHave excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skillsApplications are welcomed from experienced in-house lawyers as well as suitable private practice lawyers looking to make the move in-house.
