The Role You will advise on a broad range of private equity and corporate matters, including: UK and cross-border private equity acquisitions and disposals.
Leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and growth capital investments.
Portfolio company acquisitions, bolt-on transactions and exits.
Auction sale processes and competitive bid transactions.
Management equity incentive arrangements.
Joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and corporate restructurings.
General corporate advisory matters for sponsor-backed businesses and institutional clients.
Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you will take a lead role in transaction management, client relationships and mentoring junior associates while helping to drive matters through to successful completion.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 5 years' PQE gained within a leading City, international or highly regarded corporate practice.
Significant experience advising on private equity transactions and M&A.
Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.
Experience leading workstreams and managing junior lawyers.
Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice.
