Wicker Hamilton is recruiting a Paralegal for an established London law firm advising landlords and property owners on housing and property disputes.
Working alongside experienced solicitors, you will support live litigation and progressively develop your own caseload. Matters include possession proceedings, tenancy disputes, injunctions and disrepair claims.
The opportunity includes:
- Drafting claim forms, pleadings and witness statements.
- Preparing trial bundles and assisting with hearings.
- Managing files, deadlines and communications with clients, counsel and courts.
- Attending court to support solicitors and barristers, with opportunities for routine County Court advocacy where appropriate.
You must have a strong academic record, including a minimum 2:1 LLB or equivalent qualification, and at least one year's paralegal experience within a housing or property litigation department.
Strong drafting and legal research skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines are essential. LPC completion or ongoing part-time study would be advantageous.
