Whytematter Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Recruiter to join their People, Culture & Experience team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering end-to-end recruitment across a fast-paced, multi-site business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to attract, engage and secure top talent, while contributing to wider employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives.

The Role

Working collaboratively with the Recruitment Business Partner, HR teams and hiring managers, you will support all salaried recruitment activity across the business from vacancy approval through to offer. You will play a key role in ensuring roles are filled efficiently, contributing to a strong employer brand and building a high-quality talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to manage recruitment activity from vacancy approval through to offer
  • Build strong internal relationships across multiple sites and functions
  • Source and attract candidates using a variety of tools and networks
  • Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs
  • Work with external recruitment partners where required
  • Act as a subject matter expert on recruitment processes and systems
  • Create and refine job descriptions and adverts to attract top talent
  • Support employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives
  • Prepare recruitment reports, providing insights on hiring trends, costs and activity
  • Contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives within recruitment
  • Continuously review and improve recruitment processes and tools
  • Represent the business at recruitment events and careers fairs
  • Support onboarding processes including offers and contracts
  • Travel to sites as required to engage with stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a recruitment or talent acquisition role
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and prioritise a busy workload
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to recruitment
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of recruitment processes, tools and best practice
  • Experience working with diverse workforces (desirable)
  • Familiarity with reporting and data analysis
  • Experience using systems such as Excel (SAP/Networx beneficial but not essential)
  • Knowledge of writing job descriptions and adverts
  • Awareness of recruitment compliance and legal requirements
