Function: Distilling
Location: Jura Distillery, Craighouse, Isle of Jura
Contract: Full Time / Permanent - Monday to Thursday, 08:00am – 4:30pm & Friday, 08:00 – 14:00 (38 hrs/week).
Role Reports to: Distillery Manager / Distiller

What the opportunity looks like
- Assist with the efficient daily operation of warehousing.
- Take responsibility over general duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Help with other duties, painting, gritting, site cleaning duties etc.
- Work with care and attention being aware of other members of public (visitors) and also to protect the integrity of company goods.
- Stowing and de-stowing in dunnage and racked warehouse.
- Forklift operation.
- Loading and unloading TLV’s.
- Completion of paperwork at a competent level.
- Stocktaking.
- Loading/unloading tankers.
- Cover distillery operator role when required.
- Assist maintenance technician with tasks around site.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success
- Driving Licence desirable.
- Fork lift truck Experience preferable.
- Previous warehousing or manufacturing experience desirable.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and general computer skills, with the ability to complete documents, update records and navigate standard office systems.
