The Opportunity
The London On Trade Sales Manager is a critical leadership role within the UK Commercial organisation, responsible for shaping and delivering premium and luxury channel performance across the capital.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Account Managers (AMs) across the London Independent Free Trade (IFT) and MSO/Group channels.
- Drive brand building, distribution expansion and visibility execution for our luxury whisky portfolio (notably The Dalmore, Fettercairn, Jura, and the wider Whyte & Mackay brands).
- Set the benchmark for high performance across the hub, build capability, and foster a culture defined by focus, discipline and outstanding execution.
- Deliver strong commercial results, luxury distribution growth and advancement of the premium agenda across London's On-Trade venues.
- Lead with Whyte & Mackay’s values, bring energy and clarity, develop others, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience leading teams of BDMs and AMs in the alcohol or luxury FMCG sector.
- Track record of driving brand building, distribution expansion and in-store visibility for premium portfolios.
- Strong leadership, coaching and capability-building skills; able to foster a culture of focus and execution.
- Results-driven with ability to measure success through commercial delivery and distribution growth in a major city market.
- Resilience to operate in a fast-paced, competitive environment and alignment with the company values.
