Function: Supply Chain

Location: Primary - SLS (South Lumley Street) Grangemouth. Secondary - EDC (Earlsgate Distribution Centre) Westmains Industrial Estate, Grangemouth.

Contract: Full Time / Permanent - 38 hours per week.

Role Reports to: Warehouse Co-ordinator Team Leader

What the opportunity looks like: The Warehouse coordinator will be responsible for carrying out operational tasks within the warehouse, ensuring collaboration with Customer Service Team, Production Team, Storage and Logistics partners providers as well as wider Supply Chain departments.

  • Efficient management in Tropos of all Sales Orders released for distribution and inbound activities.
  • Coordinate and update Tropos system while receiving cased goods and dry goods, adhering to HMRC regulations and department SOP’s.
  • Coordinate the despatch workload for cased goods.
  • Accurate and timely completion of despatch documentation whilst adhering to HMRC regulation and department SOP’s.
  • Coordinate deliveries and collection vehicles on site, respecting safety procedures rigorously.
  • Flexibility of working within different location of warehouse/ distribution department when required.

Skills and experience that will help you be a success: For this role we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a logistics and manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a similar warehouse administration/coordination role, preferably in the spirit industry.
  • Experience using HMRC systems and knowledge of Export / Import documentation requirements.
  • Experience of working with business management system (ERPs). Our bespoke system is Tropos.
  • Knowledge of UK warehousing and transport best-practice processes, systems and ways of working along with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook to an intermediate level.
