Contract: Full Time / Permanent – 2-week rotation days and nights – 12 hour shifts (averaging 42 hrs per week)
Reports To: Health & Safety Manager

Responsibilities:
- Control access to site and ensure only authorised personnel and approved visitors/contractors are granted access.
- Process all delivery and despatch drivers and ensure all relevant checks are carried out.
- Process all outgoing courier parcels and mail.
- Assist in the management of traffic to ensure a safe and secure environment for the company operations.
- Assist with safe evacuation of personnel and take roll-call during emergency evacuation and drills.
- Assist with the adherence of the health & safety rules for the facility.
- Assist in ensuring health & safety checks are completed; weekly call points/fire alarm checks and on a monthly basis for fire doors and fire extinguisher checks.
- Ensure compliance with company requirements and government regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- IOSH Working Safely – desirable.
- First Aid trained or willing to work towards this qualification – essential (additional payment paid once qualified).
- Previous experience in a security or health & safety role – desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of health & safety and security policies – desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV regulations – desirable.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
