Contract: Full Time / Permanent - 35 Hours - Monday to Thursday – 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-13:30.

What the opportunity looks like: The Customer Specialist role is an operational role responsible for ensuring that all aspects of customer orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Through your organisational and relationship building skills you will deliver excellent customer service and engage effectively with both internal stakeholders and customers whilst embodying our company values. You will be enthusiastic, adaptable and customer focused, with excellent communication skills to drive and deliver excellent customer service in a fast paced, changing environment. You will be comfortable to challenge the status quo, look for improvement opportunities and be driven to deliver excellence in this critical operational role through a value-added approach to customer service.
The Customer Specialist will be responsible for:
- Administration and execution of cased and bulk orders from initiation and processing through shipping to delivery and resolution of any post-despatch issues.
- Managing key customer accounts, ensuring shipment of goods on time in full, completing appropriate documentation in line with country and HMRC legislative requirements.
- Proactively seeking to add value to the supply chain by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining a thorough commercial understanding of designated regions and market dynamics.
- Facilitating the most effective and economical solutions for all requests and ensuring commitment to continuous improvement in systems, procedures, people and culture.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success:
- Previous experience within a Customer Operations role preferably FMCG or Drinks industry.
- A strong track record of providing a high level of customer service and administration.
- Strong demonstrable administration and organisational skills.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook to an intermediate level.
- Experience in Customs and Excise is preferred but not essential.
